RESEARCH AREA:

Molecular genetic studies of bacteria, yeasts and molds: species identification using PCR and DNA sequencing and phylogenetic analysis; Investigation of the process of degradation of aromatic contaminants of soils and waters of industrial origin: kinetics of growth and degradation, analysis of degradation products, enzymatic analyzes and mathematical modeling and laboratory evaluation of technologically significant microbial strains.

  • Project N 2009/2012 DTK 02/74, molecular and biochemical analysis of strains Antarctic fungi: Studies on the possibility of biodegradation of phenol and polyaromatic environmental contaminants. Funding from the National Science Fund.
