The Stefan Angeloff Institute of Microbiology took part in the Science for Business

New developments by scientists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, ready to turn into a successful business or help it in the optimization of processes, were presented at the "Science for Business" event. The forum, which is being held for the third year in a row, took place on April 27 at the Inter Expo Center. Organizers are the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and the Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (IANMSP).

The Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev, the President of the BAS Academic Julian Revalski and the Executive Director of the IANMSP Dr. Boyko Takov opened the event.

Scientists from the Stephan Angeloff Institute of Microbiology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences presented their developments, prototypes and new technologies, ready to turn into a successful business.

On April 27, 2023, scientists from the "Stefan Angeloff" Institute of Microbiology presented their new applied achievements during the event "Science for Business" organized by BAS and IANMSP.

A presentation on the topic "Waste biosludge treatment agent for the cultivation of microalgae" was given by Assist. Prof. Venelin Hubenov, PhD.

Interesting prototypes and technologies of the Institute, ready to turn into a successful business, were presented. Assoc. Prof. Galina Stoyancheva, PhD, showed the potential of  "Synbiotic product containing selected strains of lactic acid bacteria" and Assist. Prof. Nikolina Atanasova gets involved with "Microorganisms in the fight against plastic waste". The event provided an opportunity for businesses to meet with science through the scientists from BAS.
