Launch of JUICE to Jupiter with the collaboration of the Institut Pasteur de la Guyane

This April 14th in Kourou, French Guyana, the first European-led space mission was launched to Jupiter. The control of the sterility of the satellite and of the atmosphere of the assembly area were realized trough a bioburden campaign by the Institut Pasteur de la Guyane.

Diversity of mosquitoes in four forests of Cambodia
Institut Pasteur du Cambodge et al., Parasites and Vectors

The Medical and Veterinary Entomology team from Institut Pasteur du Cambodge collected mosquitoes in 12 sites from four forests in Cambodia.This study enhances the understanding of the spatial and temporal distribution of sylvatic mosquito populations of Cambodia by determining which factors impact on their relative abundance and presence. The results indicate an important diversity of mosquitoes in the four forests and an influence of meteorological and geographical factors on their community.

Pasteur Network International Courses Proposals - Call 2023
Application deadline: June 30^th, 2023.

The Pasteur Network invites proposals for twenty training courses annually, which are open to postgraduate students and young scientists from research institutions in the host country and national institutions. The courses should cover relevant high-quality topics and fall within the priority strategic axes of the Pasteur Network, such as epidemic intelligence and innovation in critical diagnostics, vaccines, and therapeutics. The communication of the results will be in September.

Pasteur Network Post-doctoral Grants
Application deadline: August 18^th, 2023.

The call for post-doctoral grants in the Pasteur Network is now open and will fund up to eleven new post-doctoral positions thanks to the Pasteur Network and Calmette & Yersin programmes.
